⋆  in my dr, i’m also a bit of a witch…….seeing crystals, grimoires or skulls gets me going.

⋆  and since this dr also…….maybe serves as a time traveling dr (because yours truly adores adores adores history), i do get a kick whenever i see anything with history. dresses, artefacts, antiques.

⋆  a birkin or miu miu bag sighting is a shoutout to my carrie-esque life.

⋆  perfectly ties in with parisian but nyc café vibes.

⋆  since since since i’m a columnist for vogue magazine who writes about, well, “sex and the city.” YES I STOLE CARRIE’s CAREER, it’s very fun to imagine seeing my own column on those pages.

It's hard not to compare two new characters we've been introduced to in the last update.

I find it interesting that a very important part of Ruan Mei's mission is that she makes us forget things we've learned.

Meanwhile, an important part of our encounter with Dr Ratio is him making us remember things we've forgotten. And then he debates us to reach the truth (from what I understand he knew about what was going on all along but just did that teacher thing when they help the pupil come to the correct conclusion instead of telling them right away).

I wonder if it was a deliberate juxtaposition.

Something so crazy is that I started this temp job in Texas and they paired me with a random coworker to live with for like 2 months. And when we met and were getting to know each other I mentioned that I did my thesis on avian seed dispersal and he was like "NO WAY I did my thesis on secondary seed dispersal!" and I was like "omg. Would you happen to remember citing any papers from Dr. Kwit, he does a lot of secondary seed dispersal" and he said yes and I was like "He was on my committee" LMAO
